recognizing
It’s quite interesting how we consistently set standards for
ourselves but we are the first ones to bend them. Why do we make them in the
first place? Every relationship we encounter helps us grow and learn things so
we should do better next time. Learning to recognize “red flags” or making
rules for ourselves so that next time we don’t either get taken advantage of;
or learn how to be in a better healthy pattern verse sometimes allowing
negative behaviors to continue. So when we see this begin to happen
again, why do we do it anyway? Even though we are aware of what is occurring.
That is what I call hope, because we take this chance that maybe this time will
be different. The question is when should we actually take these risks/opportunities/chances
and when should we just know when to walk away.
